Fundraising

As a registered charity, we rely on fundraising activities for additional income, which directly benefits our children. We are very fortunate to have wonderfully supportive and helpful parents and carers at the Pre-School, but rest assured this doesn’t mean that we constantly ask you for money!

There are many ways we look to raise money for the Pre-School. As well as our delicious cake sales, our fantastic Parents’ Committee also organise annual events and activities. This includes the Christmas Bake Sale, sponsored listen and dressing up for World Book Day, sports day and the Summer Fair.

There are also free ways to raise money for the Pre-School:

With easyfundraising.org.uk: you can generate a donation for the Pre-School when you shop online at over 2,700 online retailers (including many household names). In a nutshell, this is how it works:

  1. You register with easyfundraising.org.uk.
  2. Instead of going direct to your chosen retailer’s website, you first go to easyfundraising.org.uk.
  3. From that website, you click through to your chosen retailer to make your purchase, which tells them that you came from easyfundraising.org.uk.
  4. After you make your purchase, the retailer makes a cash reward which is turned into a donation to the Pre-School. Easyfundraising collect this and send it on to us at no extra cost.

Easy2name.com sells name labels and various personalised items (all of which are very useful for pre-school and school age children). All you have to do is select Christ Church Pre-School before you purchase and a 20% commission will be made.

The Parents’ Committee are always looking for new ways to raise money for the Pre-School and welcome input and ideas from parents and carers, so don’t be shy.

Thank you to everyone who has participated in our fundraising this year!
